A rare seasonal high-grown offering from the Nilgiris, made in very small batches from select fields. This is the winter frost character, and it cannot be manufactured; it can only be a gift, blessed by nature and limited to this time of year.
Bright, floral, aromatic and naturally sweet. The dry leaf is long, well-rolled and fragrant. Brewed fully, the liquor is luminous amber, brisk yet mellow, with notes reminiscent of a wild Nilgiri meadow. Lavender, gentle citrus, hints of rose, wild herbs and a delicate suggestion of dandelion unfold in the cup, followed by a lingering, refined finish.

A rare seasonal harvest from the high elevations of the Nilgiris, this winter flush tea is shaped by freezing nights, persistent morning frost and the slow, deliberate development of the leaf under cold-weather dormancy. As bud break slows, the shoots accumulate aromatic compounds and natural sugars at a concentration unique to the season, producing a tea that cannot be replicated at any other time of year.
Harvested at Kairbetta Estate between 2nd and 30th January, the leaf is hand-plucked from proprietary clonal plantings selected for their response to winter conditions, then manufactured within 24–36 hours to preserve the character and integrity of the leaf.
A limited offering defined by season, elevation and patience, this is a quiet, expressive cup that reflects the distinctive winter frost character of the Nilgiris.
