All About

Women’s Wellness Organic Green Tea

ABOUT WOMEN'S WELLNESS ORGANIC GREEN TEA

Shatavari, when translated from Sanskrit means the “curer of a hundred diseases”. Botanically called Asparagus Racemosus worldwide, this potent healing herb is native to India and is used extensively in traditional Indian medicine to balance hormonal changes in women and as a supplement for their general health.

When combined with Ashwagandha or Indian Ginseng, sourced from the Himalayas and blended with an organic primary-grade green tea from the highest elevations of the Nilgiris, this results in a powerful, potent tea targeted at Women’s Wellness. Small traces of Gokshura have been incorporated to make this more potent.

An all-day brew can be consumed on a daily basis. Like any natural product, it’s best to regulate usage to two-three cups a day.

warnings

  1. THOSE ALLERGIC TO ASPARAGUS SHOULD AVOID THIS TEA AS IT CONTAINS SHATAVARI (ASPARAGUS RACEMOSUS)
  2. SHATAVARI IS KNOWN TO INCREASE PHYTOESTROGENS, CONSUME IT WITH CAUTION.
  3. THE HERBS ARE KNOWN TO CAUSE NO ADVERSE REACTION. HOWEVER, THOSE WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR DOCTOR.

Health benefits

Shatavari, as per ancient Ayurveda, is a very potent herb to maintain the health of the female reproductive system and is known to have powerful qualities which are rejuvenating, aphrodisiac, laxative, antispasmodic, diuretic, antitumor, anti-depressant, anti-microbial, anti-oxidant in nature. Ashwagandha, botanically called Withania somnifera, is one of the most important herbs in traditional Indian medicine and has been used for centuries to relieve stress by reducing cortisol, increasing energy levels, and improving concentration.

Ashwagandha is known to help women experience significant relief from chronic stress symptoms like extreme fatigue and insomnia. Ayurvedic texts also recommend using Ashwagandha for alleviating tension, exhaustion, and body ache. Gokshura, botanical name Tribulus Terrestris is an immunity-boosting and healing medicinal herb, found in the sub-Himalayan forests of India.

Gokshura is known as an effective tonic for rejuvenation. Predominantly used to boost testosterone, there is ample research to mention that in small quantities and combined with Shatavari and Ashwagandha, works powerfully for women too. The many health benefits of green tea are common knowledge and publicly available. While a lot of research has been undertaken for its effect in neutralizing cancer-causing free radicals, it’s obvious that its properties in promoting cardiovascular health are high. In general, green teas are higher in catechins, a powerful natural antioxidant, which is known to slow down ailments like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
