Spicy Turmeric Organic Green Tea

Himalayan turmeric is known to have a higher concentration of curcumin owing to its nature-induced advantages of elevation and climate. The turmeric for this blend has been sourced from small and marginal farmers who cultivate this magic rhizome at elevations of 7000 feet and above. Naturally sun-dried and without any additives, this is amongst the purest turmeric that is known to exist.

Blended with Certified Organic primary green leaf grade from Korakundah Estate, reputed to be the highest-grown tea in the world, we have curated a fine tea full of health and flavour. We have also added black pepper harvested wild from the forest and sun-dried by tribals from the Periyar district of Kerala. A high concentration of piperine makes this pepper very potent and in combination with turmeric, aids in the extraction and absorption of the curcumin.

HOW TO BREW

1. Bring unfiltered water to a gentle boil to approximately 90 deg. Celsius (208 deg. Fah.).
2. Place 1 tsp. tea (2.5 gms. approx.) per cup in a pre-heated teapot, and pour the water from above. In case of several cups, add a tsp. extra for the pot.
3. Steep for 3-5 mins as per taste. Tastes best on its own without additives. Add molasses or honey if desired.

Green teas taste best when brewed on their own with natural flavours which take away the grassy, vegetal flavour of natural green tea. Care should be taken to not over brew the tea, instead shorter times could be used to extract a fuller second brew. An all-day, powerful restorative, and rejuvenating brew which can be had anytime.
